Your monowheel IS a neat hack. But. the monowheel has never been successful as a real mode of transportation, it's too unstable, and more often than not, riders get hurt. While a few people HAVE managed to make use of them, they remain impractical.BUT - there is a very similar idea that seems like it shouldn't work, but actually does, and quite well: the one-wheel motorcycle. I thought you might be interested in reading about it, at least. This uses the self-balancing technology from the Segway to maintain stability and, while I have no personal experience with the things, they do seem to have the potential to be a real alternative. You can read about an electric version:https://www.coolthings.com/ryno-microcycle/https://www.dogonews.com/2014/1/27/one-wheeled-ele...This could be a fun p...

Almost any decent laser printer nowadays can print in high enough resolution to actually make readable miniature books. It can be a challenge to convert a page of tiny print pages to a form where signatures can be made and the pages bound properly, but it CAN be done, and the resulting works, if they come out well at all, are good items for handicraft meets and websites like Etsy. The Gutenberg Project http://www.gutenberg.org/ makes tens of thousands of public-domain or open content books available for this treatment. https://annabellleeart.deviantart.com/art/Printable-medieval-music-books-02-745622560 and other DeviantArt sites also talk about the artistic aspects of miniatures.

- larry03052 commented on BenjaminK10's instructable Upgrade Stairs1 year agoView Instructable »
This type of tread is ideal for very narrow stairs as it makes more room to keep each foot stable for the lift of the other foot. The only caveat to keep in mind is this: they can be MURDER on the knees. The knees are now doing most of the work to climb this type of stair, and if your knees are questionable - and, God knows, mine ARE - think twice about this method. That said, sometimes it's the only solution (which look like the case here from the photos above.)

- larry03052 commented on vn_ky's instructable Homemade Caramel Syrup1 year agoView Instructable »
In his show "Good Eats" Alton Brown's caramel recipe included a dash of corn syrup - glucose - to help control the process. Heating sugar alone results in a very hot mixture that has a tendency toward sudden crystalization - which could spatter molten sugar all over the kitchen and stove. The glucose sugar, on the other hand, won't crystalize with the sucrose and fructose in the sugar itself, greatly reducing the potential havoc. http://altonbrown.com/hittin-the-caramel-sauce-from-food-network/

Judging from the pictures, I think you may have missed a critical step in your recipe: boiling the dough in a solution of baking soda before baking. This is critical for two reasons, first it conditions the dough to hold onto the salt better, and second it makes the dough turn that nice dark golden brown we expect pretzels to be. - larry03052 commented on DeltaH4's instructable HOW TO MAKE HOOKAH AT HOME (DIY)1 year agoView Instructable »
A note of caution: people using hookahs can absorb huge amounts of toxic chemicals even compared to "regular" smoking. A single evening of hookah smoking can provide as much toxins as 100-200 cigarettes. The smoke from a hookah is much cooler and less irritating than cigarettes, so people are less likely to realize how much they are actually smoking, but the hookah removes NONE of tobaccos cancer-causing or toxic ingredients - it merely makes them less objectionable..https://www.cdc.gov/features/hookahsmoking/http://www.health.umd.edu/sites/default/files/Hook...

In most places you probably are. Many areas of the country specifically exempt beekeepers from liability for their bees because of the desperate shortages of them in North America. If you are in one of the few areas still benighted, you can now get hives that look like stacks of straws that cater to native bees, whose hives are much smaller and look on such places like apartment complexes.

While dehydrating would make them crunchy, I presume, they won't really cook the ingredients of what is essentially a dough. Also, baking would be a good opportunity to spritz with olive or canola oil to help condiments stick and improve mouth feel.

I can see you are both soaking in the Liberal kool-aid. The Liberals have embarrassed themselves so forcefully since the election it's really sad. There's nothing I can add except to point out that this attitude is doing NOTHING to help you or your cause. It's just pathetic. It doesn't matter that you don't like Trump, he's still President. You can work with that, or you can stick your fingers in your ears and hum. Most Liberals are doing that, so at least TRY to rise above it just a little.

The sensitivity may vary according to how strong you are with the Force... =)
You might consider a wheeled cradle with hitch that would allow a unit to be trailered behind any car. I dunno about shipping regulations, but double-trailer trucks suggest you might even be able to tow two at a time in tandem. The wood interior would be less problematical if the lining was laid out flat, finished side down, with leds installed, and then duct-taped together into a cylinder than can just be slid into position. By positioning the boards slightly apart (say 1/8") they would automatically form a tight cylinder as soon as they were rolled.
