I would suggest adding a frame around the top to give it a more finished look and also protect the end grain of the vertical pieces. Good project!

Crokinole is a great game! Good for all the family since it doesn't depend on strength or knowledge - kids and adults are equal! I have one and it makes a great Christmas present.
