Emergency Keyring Phone Charger
Made this after collecting on my first large woodworking contract. The saying is inspired by how hard I had to fight to get paid... I have to figure out how to make the slot in the front thinner. I would like it to hold one or two bills just as well as multiples. I left the kerf marks hoping it will add some grip. Nice project Peter, i have so many scraps around the shop, i think i will make a bunch of these. Keep up the good work, love your Youtube channel!

Thanks, i was quite worried about my explanation of the grooves, i hope the video cleared it up. I would love to see pictures once you have one done!
Thanks, i hope you do! Would love to see pictures!
Thanks. This is my methodology, keeping the piece as large as i can for as long as i can. I prefer it because it allows me to make changes to the design should the mood strike me. As such, i have to use the chisel and file method. If you are sure of your final size you can cut you pieces and ease those corners before the glue up, it is easier that way. Just be very precise when aligning the pieces and it should work out fine.
Thanks very much, a nice compliment indeed!

Thanks! I don't really notice a difference in sound vs. having it speaker side down on my night stand. If you are worried you can drill a hole where your speaker is. I have an image of my old one in step 11 and you can see that i did just that.
Nice, that would work pretty well. I would only add that the pieces should be at least as tall as the fence so that you don't lose any stability. Perhaps some strips of 1/4" MDF.

Great project and instructable. Was definitely inspird to make these!
Thanks a lot! The grooves really are pretty easy. I would encourage you (and others) to do a couple of dry runs with the blade down to get comfortable with the motion.
