There is just one python script file. Just need to be sure to have the right libraries to import available!

I'd look through adafruit's website first and then maybe dig through digikey. To be honest though, a LIDAR scanner of that resolution is going to be really expensive. The wiring is pretty simple fortunately! I'd recommend getting a breakout board like this to get pins from the pi: https://www.adafruit.com/product/2028?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIh6PTz-7P6gIVlY3ICh1WDAh1EAQYASABEgIXxfD_BwEThe pinouts are all in the code!The LED is GPIO 18, button is GPIO 23, and stepper motor pins are GPIO 13, 16, 5, and 12. The ground lines are all grounded together. The stepper driver has logic pins for 3.3V and ground but also has a separate power supply for powering the motor. See the image in Step 6 with the four green dots. The coordinates of those dots are these parameters.tlp = top left point, trp = top right point, brp = bottom right point, blp = bottom left point
