How Beautiful! I love the one with the floral border. This is a project that could include a favorite sports team by marbling the team colors, and then printing the name of the team on the border.
Thanks, Yes, it takes a bit of time, but really dresses up the window.

Thanks for the tips. I have found the same success with this advice that you shared. I make costumes and special props for Ohio Shakespeare festival, and many times some cardboard is just the ticket. If it is thick, it can be treated much like you do with wood. Here is a fake US mailbox that I made from cardboard and some metal corner guards that are used with dry wall.
Beginning Leatherworking Class
We were unpacking our family heirloom christening gown of 100+ yrs. and found that it was stained with dark yellow spots on the chest area. Realizing that the stains were from the Holy Oil that is used to anoint the baby, we knew that we needed an oil solvent. After testing it on an inconspicuous spot, we found that WD40 worked perfectly to dissolve the old oil. We then carefully laundered it in a mild detergent to remove the residual lubricant. Yes, it was scary to think that we might ruin this treasured garment, but when done with caution, we were thrilled that it restored the fabric.
