Kudos on the art form. 50 years ago when I got into working in electronics, guys would make circuits by soldering components together with no board. It turned into a ball og wired components. They called it airplane logic! Beautiful job! Encapsulating in Acrylic makes it all the more beautiful!

The talc is used to prevent the rubber from sticking to itself.... as rubber ages and breaks down it gets gummy.... So it probably also helps keep it plyable longer.

I have a Walmart solar light that is not detecting daylight. I suspect the chip, but its not one that can be found D1803. Its close in design I think to the ANA608. I have the data sheet. I'm going to try and find that one.There's only the diode, capacitor and resistor on the board. Of course the chip and LED too... Matches one 608 schematic. The board is labeled 3416b-K10AX v1.0... That also could not be sourced. I found one hobby supplier (for the 608) in England (Flytron.com), and also (aliexpress.com). Trying to stay away from Chinese sources if I can... Even ebay is claiming possible tarrifs (:-(...Might you have any others? Seems the chip is also used in drones for LED night lighting!

If the design is applied to space, a cubic design for the chamber would be more appropriate of course. But I was thinking, to increase light output would adding one way mirrors to the sides increase penetration and light output to the plants? In fact using mirrored mylar to all 5 inner surfaces. Or a curved mirrored dome. No need to look at the plants. We design growing chambers them for visual human enjoyment..a mini camera could be incorporated to view on a periodic basis.
