Thanks so much! I appreciate the nice comment! :)
Love the wire frame! My favorite part of any artwork is always the sketch phase - I find them to have so much life! And your chicken certainly has lots of 'presence'! Kudos sir!
Thank you so much! Nice of you to comment :)
It's true, I think most people are in the same boat ;) ha!
Both of those would be super cool! I've often wanted to add lights or some other features, but I would be eager to hear how your mod's turn out. Thanks!
Haha! I love it - very endearing :) Thanks!
Awesome! Thank you so much!
Much appreciated! :) Glad ya like it! And yes, I've actually been eyeing one of those hand-held, airless sprayers - thanks for the suggestion!
most excellent! thanks :)
Wow! Thank you, I'm so glad you like it! Sometimes these sculptures do feel a little like a battle, both of wits and of strength... But they are always fun! I very much appreciate your comments!
Cool, thanks! The saws kind of give it a little edge ;)
Thank you thank you :)
Thank you :)
Yes indeed! It is a great place - and thanks, glad you enjoy the crab!
I'm so glad to hear that, thank you so much! It's my pleasure :)
Thank you so much! And if the kiddos like it, I know I'm doing something right!
Thanks! The officer really enjoyed it, although he did have a few questions for me...but I was more curious about what the horse was thinking! ;) And totally - junk art is the way to go. It's a great way to recycle, and save a ton of cash!
It's tough to say exactly - sometimes I see an animal or something in nature and think it would be fun to try and make something similar in a sculptural form. Other times I find an interesting piece of metal with a funky shape, and say 'that kind of looks like...' and then I just run with it. As a graphic designer, I am almost always being asked to make specific things for other people, but when it comes to my sculpture work I honestly just open myself up to whatever enters my mind and then say OK, here we go! :) Thanks for the comment!
Haha! Thanks - I also like it 'au natural', too! But since it was going to be on display at a kids museum, I figured better go colorful :)
I'm very glad you enjoyed it! Thank you. I see you're in Canada, whereabouts? Anywhere that has a sculpture garden sounds great! :)
Awww, thanks so much! I am very glad you enjoyed my work!
Much appreciated! And I fully support that notion :)
