builderat66 --- You know, of course, that there are two types of current flow. One is ELECTRON CURRENT FLOW ( - to +) and the second is CONVENTIONAL CURRENT FLOW. (+ to -) It makes NO difference which one you use --- the results will come out the same. Very EXCELLENT Instructable!!!!
Up to a point -- yes. You might have to use some steel wool on the tough places.
Yes! This method will free up frozen parts. For example, I had a rusted pistol that was frozen. After treatment it is now in working order and I have fired it several times. To make things even better, in many cases the item does not have to be disassembled as the "current" will get down into those tight places. I generally use 12v @ 4 amp. nI adjust the amount of soda to get the desired current.
I generally run 12v @ 4 amp. My power supply is not adjustable but is capable of putting out 36 amp. So I adjust the current flow by the amount of soda that I use.
