I make these often. You can use the sugar free water flavor stix (like you put in a bottle of water) or crystal light or similar products. If you do that you dont need to use sweetener. I also hunt up interesting silicone molds-hearts, candy, flowers, and most recently a snowman. You can also use sugar free jello but the recipe is a bit different-less gelatin and less water.

Freaking awesome. Will the resin scratch and scuff with wearing? I make myown skulls with polymer clay but I dont know if I could go that tiny.

Wow I didnt expect anything quite so detailed. Looks great-the most ingenious part in my opinion was the snare drum harness...fantastic.

Good to know. Some discussions I read said you could use it, but the splenda just seemed to be the best choice even tho its not something I typically use.

I like this project because anyone can do it, no fancy power tools needed and it looks great and is easy to alter if you want. Great project.

Does this appear to affect the paint/decoration on the can? I often use the cans for their graphic properties and wouldnt want to affect this.
