Great project and very well explained thanks! One suggestion though - it would make a lot more sense to actually use generic and correct names for the materials rather than "pink foam" and "Gorilla glue". Half the people in the world will probably just not know what you're talking about when you use local brand names.

fantastic work! Thanks. I've seen a setup where the projector hits the whole body. Having just completed a PhD in the use of projections in live theatre I find your tech absolutely fascinating. One question for you - is it 100% reliable? Because if I incorporate something like this in a live theatre play it would have to be!

I disagree with Boy Genius's point that making a small 3D model of a sculpture is copyright theft. In some circumstances it might be but I don't see it as any different to taking a photo of it for personal use. Making a 3D model for commercialisation would be unfair without the artists permission but taking a 3D photo for personal use is a form of tribute. Many art galleries and museums now encourage this, admittedly with works that were in the public domain.

Sorry to hear about your injury - I hope it heals well. I'm interested in the outside cladding and, personally, would like to try a thin sheet of fibreglass. I know polystyrene foam and polyester resin don't play nicely together. So I'd make the thin sheets away from the foam - maybe on vinyl flooring laid on a flat surface or glass - then bring the cured sheets and glue them to the foam. This would give strength to the sandwich structure. I wonder if it would work?

I find that Google translate is often not very correct. So I think you are saying thatmaglov = (rack and pinion) steering rackkardan = steering column shafttie rod is the link between the end of the steering rack and the spindle - one each sideHow did you decide on the suspension geometry? Is it just copied from the Quad that you took the spindles from? Or did you have a way of designing it specifically for your go cart? Great project by the way.
