Additional options for printing solid blocks on Ember:1. Increase wait time before exposure - the larger the cross section, the longer the wait. 2. CAREFULLY add two set screws at the outside edges of the 'peel plate' that you can adjust to eliminate the flexing. They need to be set out as close to the edge as possible and be turned down to reduce the setscrew OD to clear the proximity sensors. This doesn't eliminate the need to adjust the wait time entirely, but you don't have to wait as long. I am having a 'peel plate' fabricated with extra tabs that will allow me to mount the set screws further out. PS - the set screws do drag against the top plate a smidge, but so far it's not been a deal breaker for me.

Love the idea....Did you guys make any functional prints with this mod? I only ask because there are a few missing details (tray mods, mirror, etc...).

A correction on the note - it appears that the capitalization must MATCH the file name as it appears in the directory. So if it's .STL, use all CAPs if it's .stl, use lowercase.
Can't wait to see this as a polished and included option in PrintStudio. I found that you can control the layer thickness by changing the listed variableLayers values. I dropped the min value to 5um and it worked!
View Instructable »Tried it out - works pretty good. I would love to see this as a part of PrintStudio - along with PatternMode. One note: capitalization is required for the file name for String stlPath = "STLs/xxxxx.STL" ("STLs/xxxxx.stl") will not work.

I have found that placing the parts to be cured in beaker of water helps speed things along.

Excellent information. I need to buy a light meter now. A couple of questions:How did you generate the curves? Did you measure the light value before each print and correlate it to a pass/fail of the final part? I find the exposure time required can vary based on geometry. What type of part was used to validate the pass/fail?Do you have these curves for other materials?
Not sure if this thread is being monitored anymore... but I was attempting to use this again after a hiatus, but the program runs to completion - too fast - and doesn't output anything. Looking for some offline help.
I figured it out: The Z axis was loading incorrectly.I had to import the STL into meshmixer, and re-save it. Even though it came into meshmixer correctly orientated as an export from SolidWorks.
