Hi there! Sorry to say I no longer have this vehicle but, it lasted for about a year before I sold the car. However, I believe there may be a better and easier option for this repair now. There is a glue on the market that is UV activated. If I was dealing with this problem today, I would use that instead of epoxy. I expect it will be a very quick and easy job. No painting involved. Best of luck
Very good idea. Your creativity is impressive. Keep up the good work!

I'm sorry but I don't have a video. Look at it like this, the grocery bags have only one purpose. To catch the dirty litter when you undo the clip. Then you remove the grocery bag of dirty litter and toss it. Reset the clip rinse and repeat.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion. Perhaps it would help to remember we all have different needs and circumstances. For example: someone lives in an apartment and the trash room is in the basement. Now lets say that building has no elevator and you have to walk 5 flights to the the street and go outside through the side alley to throw out the trash. Now lets say that person is elderly or sick or just plain tired from a long day of work.As I said, we all have different needs. Im happy your solution works for you.
I'm so happy you found this hack helpful.
They probably though the stuff was garabage.
You do indeed have to keep the blue bag a bit long. when you take the clip off, you pull up the top end of the blue bag as you let the waste fall into the shopping bags. The extra length of the blue bag should be before the clip. There is no need to cut it.
@LyndaD18, I’m only guessing but the 2 possible solutions that come to mind are, 1. Are you certain you are pulling the drawer all the way out?2. Are you pulling through enough of the blue refill bag to leave room for the litter to fall through? I used to pull through an extra long section so it was easier to work with when emptying. I hope this helps
I use the Omega Paw litter box and I never have to touch the litter. Roll, pull out drawer, dump in litter genie. This thing is the bomb.
I'm back to update. I previously mentioned the litter I was using and wanted to say I changed to Clump and Seal litter about 10 months ago and I'm loving it. It smells fantastic and using this hack, it lasts a long time.Still using the same box and litter genie.
2 years later, I'm reviewing this instructable and realize this was not really the answer to your question. Even though it's been awhile, I thought I should remedy that. The smell is contained in the litter genie bag until the end of the week when you open the bottom and dump into the grocery bag. On that day, you immediately discard the poop in the outside trash. That's why there is no smell.
Sorry for the delayed response. Yes, I just put the end of the LG bag inside the trash/grocery bags. They don't have to stand up at all. They just sit there until you empty the LG bag.

http://www.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/products/7008325...Here are the clips I use. I purchased them from IKEA. I've had the 1 pack for 4 years now. They are so handy. Great price for such a useful item.
I got my clips from IKEA. I bought one pack of various sized clips about 4 yrs ago and they have been very useful. They were quite inexpensive but I don't remember the exact price. I know they still sell them.I would not use a spring loaded clip. The style of clip in my instructable is called a sealing clip.
