sparkfun doesn't seem to sell the clear version of the 100mm dome button, any more, but you can find it on amazon: http://a.co/0Wyl1eYi just bought all four of the colored versions (red, blue, green, yellow) for a project of mine, but now i see this and it's about seven hundred times better to be able to control the color, so yeah... another forty bucks for the clear versions.
and you can find the "rgb led rings" on ebay for WAY cheaper than adafruit. i chose the 12 led version: http://r.ebay.com/hzNzP6
unfortunately, this does not work any more. with itunes 12.5.1 for windows, apple has removed this method of enabling half stars. (i haven't tested the mac version to see if the terminal method still works.)however, smart playlists do still take into account all previous ratings that included half stars. so the feature is clearly still in place, someone just needs to figure out how to get at it.
you do not need to worry about using insulated pliers or screwdriver for this. electricity follows the path of least resistance. in this case, a few millimeters across the end of your tool. just don't touch the capacitor leads until you've attempted to discharge it. also, capacitors have a very high internal discharge rate. it's probably already empty, if it hasn't been plugged in for a few hours.
okra is delicious. and steamed broccoli is pretty good, but with ranch dip or cheese it's delicious as well.
good ideas. right now i've got everything organized so i know right where to go for a tool, but it's all either in a toolbox or has its own place on the workbench. in the latter case, it's taking up valuable workbench real estate, and in the former case, it's just not as quick and easy to get to as it should be. i've been wanting to hang some stuff, but need a solid plan. so this'll definitely help. thanks.
