Parametric Print in Place Hinge
This worked out great. I'm going to integrated it into something else I am making that needed a print-in-place hinge.
Could you help me out with some compile errors? It keeps telling me the functions defined in the dmx.cpp library were already defined in _vector. I'm not sure what it really means.

I had a question about the design, specifically on the MAX485. Why is there a resistor on the RO pin and why is RE low? Doesn't doing so enable the chip to be able to receive? Does all of this have something to do with the 16x2 LCD? Otherwise, couldn't you just tie both RE and DE to 5V, enabling the chip to be in transmit only mode?
Why is receiving enabled on the MAX485? I thought it was only transmitting. Shouldn't RE and DE both be tied to 5V?
What exactly do you need to know?

Does the screen stay on full time or does it have to be manually turned on? Perhaps a motion detector?
Does this programmer require its own microcontroller to work? The Atmel application note specifies a AT90S1200-4sc. I didn't see one listed here.
