I did not made any video of that. I am in the software industry and often have a meeting room full of participants that need to give their status in a short concise way and limited in time. The countdown is used exactly for that, so that none is going over their time and anyone has clear view of where he stands.

Hi, thank you! I believe the code is portable enough to match the newer LCD panels. Overall there are quite few years since this was done, and they probably did not see enough demand for that panel. The controller in the panels is probably very similar so will be even easier.

I did not had issues with it as you report. Do note though that it is better to measure few times and average the results than relying on single sample. I noticed that in few rare cases I get some noisy samples due to electrical noise (drill or somet other powerful electro mechanic tool) in proximity. Did not implemented that yet...

Hi,Am no longer a premium user and can't download PDF of my own Instructables :-( Sorry.

Hi Daniel,In some other projects with closures I have seen this, however in this project the Arduino wakes up for less than a second to collect readings from sensors, and hence entire power dissipation in this circuit is so low that the temperature barely changes as a result of power here.As for humidity, this is a bit tricky indeed, but what I got is a cord feeding the unit from solar plate, and I did not seal it. That provides enough room for air to circulate through and not be locked in the enclosure. Is this scientifically absolute measure? Most likely not. Good enough however to know as standard person if we got 80% humidity outside or not :-)

Mot a silly question at all.As I got few devices already built, this could be a money saving change. I got one unit at home for my phone, one at work, one for my Wife, and one built for a friend. However the HC-06 does not have all the features required by this project and could not make it to work for this one.Sorry, you need to buy the more expensive unit.Cheers,Zakei

Hi Kashsya,I don't have first hand experience with mbed however if it has "network access" and more than 4K or RAM, it is possible.Do note that Google stopped their weather service and I have another similar project using WeatherUnderground as the source for the weather data instead.
Would be an honor for me if you do, provided the original name of designer is kept: Zakie Mashiah.
