Alien Blaster Costume Piece/Prop

Introduction: Alien Blaster Costume Piece/Prop

This is a great accesory for a homemade costume opr a film.

Step 1: Collect Your Pieces

I used a deodorant bottle this was 2 or 3 dollars.

I also used a piece of an old play toy tool set from my basement.

I used a little screen from an old DVD player

A brass washer from my garage

And a small metallic piece from an old flashlight

You will not have the same supplies I had so find your own and make it unique!

I needed spray paint and hot glue also.

I was going to use the glue cap but that looked dumb, I tried to spray paint it but it didn't work. : (

Step 2: Spray Paint and Decide Your Layout

I spray painted my long plastic piece gold and found the layout I wanted

then I glued the washer and plastic piece together and glued them to the bottle as you see here.

Then I glued the rest of the parts and I was finished.

Step 3: You're Done!

It looks pretty cool is really cheap and simple.

This took me about 5 minutes to make 2 if you don't count the glue gun heating up.

You can make different variations and I'm going to make a new one using another deodorant stick.
