Step 1: Obtain an Apple AirPort Extreme

I happened to own an AirPort Extreme, but they are out there to buy for cheap. ( I don't know if they'll have the plastic mount though.) if you have one GREAT.

Step 2: Turn AirPort Extreme Over

Flip that flying saucer over.

Step 3: Remove the Mounting Bracket

GINGERLY remove the plastic mount, back to front. That's it. You have a mount. The teeth on the bottom keep it sturdy in carpet. It balances fine on hard surfaces, sheets and couches(fabric not leather).
