Introduction: Avengers Splatter Paint Symbols

This is a great project if you are a marvel fan and/or want a simple project to keep you entertained. The results are really nice as well and it can be done with such a small amount of supplies. I also found that this is a great back ground for photos and plus it looks good wherever you put it.

Supplies

- paint (black, red, white, dark blue, light blue, purple, yellow, and green) and paintbrush

- old tooth brush

-circle template ( can be made out of paper)

- black sharpie and pencil

- blank canvas

Step 1: Step 1: Draw It Out

Before you do this you can paint the background black like I did, or you can leave it white, however you will have to change some of the splatter colours. Once you have done that you want to use something round like a cup, or use a compass to draw equally sized and spaced circles on your canvas. I did 12. Then you need to pick your super heroes and draw the symbols inside each circle.

Step 2: Step 2: Splatter Paint

Now you are going to need you circle template ( I just cut a circle out of a price of paper) and you need to tape it down over your fist circle. Then pick the colour you are using for your background , for example red for iron man or blue for captain America, and put some of the paint on your old tooth brush. There are other ways to splatter but this is the way I ring to be the easiest. To do it just point the end of your paintbrush at the canvas the brush your fingers along the bristles. This should create a splatter affect. Do this for each circle.

Step 3: Step 3: Add the Symbols

Once the paint splatters have dried, you will need to paint the symbols over them. The best way to find them is to google the name of your superhero them logo , for example Spider-Man logo. Then paint this onto the circle. You can use your black sharpie to add any details that are harder to paint on like the outlines. And that’s it your done!
