Introduction: Banana Delight

One of my favorite fruits is bananas and I like baking so why not put it together?

There are many recipes out there but the bread would come out too wet or dry and after looking for many recipes I found one that is good however I did make minor changes.

The banana bread has the right amount of everything!

Super easy to make, bakes fast, and tastes amazing :)

In this instructable, I'll show you step by step.

Step 1: Ingredients and Utensils

Ingredients :

  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • cinnamon (I tend to put 1 tablespoon )
  • vanilla extract (I put 2 teaspoon)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Utensils:

  • bowls
  • fork or potato masher
  • mixer
  • measuring spoons
  • a loaf pan 5 x 9

(Personally I use a 10.3 x 14.5 pan but today i will be using the 5 x 9)

Step 2: Beginning the Process ...

Gather all your ingredients. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Make sure there are no pots in the oven.

Step 3: Start Your Mixture

In the mixing bowl, add the butter and the sugar. Mix the sugar and butter until it becomes fluffy. The texture should look like foam.

Step 4: Time for the Bananas!

After mixing the sugar and butter, use another bowl for the bananas. First, peel the bananas. Using a fork or a potato masher, mash the bananas until the banana pieces are smashed as small as possible.

Step 5: More Mixing !

In the same bowl, you smashed the banana add the cinnamon, vanilla extract, eggs, and milk. Mix all of it together. Add this into the butter and sugar mixture and mix it.

Step 6: Putting It All Together!

In a different bowl add the flour and baking soda. Sift it together. Then, add It to the rest of the mixture.

Step 7: 2nd Part

Using a food scraper, mix the mixture yourself to make sure all the flour was mixed. This is just a safe step to make sure that the batter has been thoroughly mixed.

Step 8: Almost There...

Butter the dish you will put the mix in. You can use a scraper to butter the dish all around.

After you have buttered the pan add the mix and place the pan in the oven.

Step 9: Now We Wait.

After an hour and a half or until it is golden brown take out the bread. I personally check the bread every 15 minutes by inserting a toothpick or fork and if it comes out clean then it is done.

Step 10: Enjoy

Once the bread is done, let it cool for about 15 minutes before you take it out of the pan.

You can cut the pieces and serve them on their own or for a different taste you can add honey, cream cheese, and even Nutella.
