Introduction: Bolaloka

Bolaloka is a project made with Arduino uno.

It consist in a ball that vibrates and draw when detect sound. In the ball there will be sticked different pens that with the vibration produced by the sound detection will create different drawing models; always different.

Step 1: Motor Hole.

On the 15 cm diameter plastic ball we made 2 holes of 1 cm of diameter with 45º between them.

When the principal hole is done we will make 4 other little holes on both sites of the principal one for the flesh that will fix the CC motor.

Step 2: Vibration Motor.

We will cut a piece of 8 cm of length per 1 cm of width and blend it for its half. The blended part will be sticked on the axis motor,at user desires.

The site which wasn’t blended will be joined together with a heavy thread, crating this way a decentered movement as a counterweight.

Step 3: Motor Union to the Ball.

The union between the motor and the ball will be made with a combination of three flanges. One of the flange will wrap the body of the CC motor, and the other two flanges will be placed on the laterals, coinciding with the little two holes on each side of the general hole.

Step 4: Pen Holes

In order to fix the differents pens on the plastic ball is needed to make as much holes as number of pens will be used on the Bolalloka.

This holes can be made as user prefers, since the plastic used for the ball is no much hard. In this project the holes will be made with a Dremel maschine.

Step 5: Pen Preparation.

This step consist on the preparation of the 11 pens before being sticked on the plastic ball.

First of all is needed to mark in each pen and at the same level a line to make a ring with hot-melt adhesive, in order to put the pen through the different pencil holes on the plastic ball without slip.

Step 6: Sticking Pens to the Balls.

Using hot-melt adhesive we will stick the pens to the plastic ball. Thanks to the hot-melt adhesive ring, the task will be easy, because all the pens will be placed at the same position.

Step 7: Circuit

Step 8: Code.
