Introduction: Bruschetta

In this instructable, I will show you how to make Bruschetta.

Step 1: Ingredients

For this recipe, you are going to need:

1 french loaf

8-10 roma tomatoes

2 tbsp melted butter

3 cloves of garlic

10 basil leaves

1/8 tsp pepper

1/4 tsp salt

2 tsp balsamic vinegar

Step 2: Prepping the Garlic

Remove the skin of the garlic, allowing you to pull off the cloves. You are going to mince TWO of the cloves.

Remove 3 cloves of garlic and using knife, lay the blade flat on top of a clove, hitting it, this will loosen the skin on the clove making it easier to remove. Once the skin is removed, mince two of the cloves.

Step 3: Basil

Now you are going to gather 10 basil leaves. Roll the leaves up individually and cut into small pieces.

Step 4: Tomatoes

Cut the tomatoes into quarters and then remove the seeds, then cut into small pieces.

Step 5: Mix Them Together.

In a medium bowl, mix the minced garlic, tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, 1/2 of the basil leaves, salt and pepper.

Step 6: Chill!

Place the mixture into the refrigerator until it is ready to be used.

Step 7: Bread

Now you are going to slice the bread.

Lay the bread on a baking sheet and brush both sides of the bread with the melted butter.

Step 8: Baking!

Place the bread into the oven that's been preheated to 350° and bake for 10 minutes.

Step 9: Not Quite Yet!

Flip all of the slices over and bake for an additional 5 minutes.

Step 10: Yummmm... Garlic

Take the remaining clove of garlic, cut it in half and use both pieces to rub over the sliced bread.

Step 11: Top It Off!

Spoon the tomato mixture over the bread. Top it off with the rest of the basil leaves.

Step 12: Enjoy!!!
