Nonstick spray

Mixer or mixing bowl

3 ripe bananas

1/3 cup of melted butter

1/2 cup sugar

1 egg, beaten

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

salt, to taste

1 1/2 cups of all purpose flour

1/2 cup chocolate chips

Step 1: Gather Your Supplies

Preheat oven to 350

Using a mixer, or bowl/whisk if you don’t have one, mash 3 ripe bananas until smooth.

Add in 1/3 cup of melted butter, mix until well combined.

Add 1/2 cup of sugar and 1 1/2 cups of all purpose flour, mix thoroughly.

Beat 1 egg, add to mixer.

Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.

Add salt to taste and mix until batter is smooth.

Add 1/2 cup of chocolate chips, or as much as your heart desires.

Step 3: Final Step

Add nonstick spray to your loaf pan, pour in mixture.

Top with additional chocolate chips.

Bake for approximately 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Let loaf cool completely before serving.

Top bread with butter and enjoy!
