Cleaning Your Cleats!

I will be teaching you to clean two different pairs of cleats. Since all cleats are different, some have flyknit material and some do not.

Step 1: Grab Your Materials!

You will need the following items:

• Dirty pair of cleats
• Small towel
• Large Towel
• Toothbrush
• Soap
• Small Dish
• Water

Step 2: Removing Laces

Remove the laces from each pair of cleats. The reason you will need to is beause they will need to be washed separately.

Step 3: Stuffing the Boot

The reason you will need to stuff your boot is because the flyknit material absorbs water and you do not want to mess up the material inside the cleat.

Step 4: Scrubbing the Boot

Grab the towel you have left and wet it with the water. Scrub your cleats until they look really dull. If you miss some spots do not worry, because that is what the toothbrush is for.

Step 5: Detailing Your Cleats

Use the toothbrush (preferably not one you have used to brush your teeth) and clean any remaining dirt that is leftover.

Step 6: Cleaning Your Laces

The materials you will need in order to do so are:

• Small bowl
• Dawn Dish Soap
• Water

Step 7: Cleaning Solution

Mix the dish soap and the water in the small bowl and let it sit for a minute. DO NOT STIR!

Step 8: Soaking the Laces

Stir the soap and water after one minute of holding time and then dump your laces and let them soak for a good ten minutes.

After you take them out, you should air dry them because putting them in the dryer can shrink them.

Step 9: Repeat

In order to clean the other pairs of cleats (discluding hypervenoms) you will need to:

Note: If you have hypervenoms then throw them in the washer. It will not harm the boots.

Repeat previous steps with the acception of stuffing the boot and using the toothbrush.
