Intro: Cloud Toilet Paper Storage

Ever went through every drawer in hopes of finding that one last roll of toilet paper? Well, to fix this problem I’ve built a DIY Cloud Toilet Paper Storage. As soon as you walk through that bathroom door, and from one glance you will know exactly how much toilet paper you’re dealing with.

To build this DIY Cloud Toilet Paper Storage it cost about $15 of material. This is one of the best ways to make a pile of toilet paper look good. Enjoy building!

It's definitely pretty when full, and looks to be quite well made, with a pretty good use of materials and a well documented build. I wonder why there are so many needlessly sharp corners on it though, especially when the bathroom is already statistically notorious for being the most dangerous room in the home. Also, since toilet paper's principle feature is it's absorbency, it might be a good idea to NOT place the paper cloud storage directly over the bowl where all the odors (read: bacteria) are generated. Maybe there's a good reason most people store their toilet paper in a cabinet.

Love this, just want to make it but no possibility as no band saw and my skill with a jig saw just say's NO.
So thanks for sharing, maybe one day I will get a cheap usable jig saw and this will be a must do.

So use a coping saw (its a hand held very fine blade manual old fashioned bandsaw. I know its not as fast but YOU control the cut unlike a jigsaw. It will also give you a bit of exercise, so its a win win situation.

This may sound like an odd question, but which TP brand/version did you use for this?

Its Kirkland Signature Bath Tissue, we buy it at Costco. But most of the TP are about the same size.

Have you looked at the TP options in any grocery or other Big Box stores? The OD and ID vary greatly among brands and types.

Costco is a Big Box store. The OD would very maybe 1/2" is diameter, and since TP is soft, most of the brands should fit.
