How to make a chocolate cake made with Coke and a buttercream frosting flavored with orange jello and Orange Crush. It's really moist and delicious! Video above.

Step 1: Gather Ingredients

Cake:

2 cups flour

2 cups sugar

1 cup butter

1 cup Coca Cola

5 tbls. coca powder

1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows

2 eggs

1/2 cup buttermilk

1 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. vanilla

Frosting:

1 cup butter

3 cups powdered sugar

2 tbls. orange jello

2-4 tbls. Orange Crush soda

Orange food color optional

Step 2: Make Coke Mixture

In a saucepan add 1 cup butter, 1 cup Coca Cola and 5 tbls Coca powder. Cook on medium heat until it reaches a boil.

Then add 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows. Stir until they are melted.

Step 3: Mix It Up

Add 2 cups of flour and 2 cups of sugar in mixing bowl. Add warm Coke mixture. Beat until combined.

Add the buttermilk, eggs, baking soda and vanilla and mix until well combined.

Step 4: Bake

Pour batter into prepared 8" cake pans and bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes.

Step 5: Make the Frosting

Add 1 cup of room temperature butter to a mixer. Beat it until its nice and creamy.

Add 2 tbls of Orange Crush mixed with 2 tbls orange Jell-O. Mix well,

Add 3 cups of powdered sugar a cup at a time. Add more Orange Crush a tablespoon at a time, beating until the frosting reaches a spreadable consistency.

Optionally you can add some orange food color.

Step 6: Frost and Decorate

Stack and frost your cake. I piped on rosettes and added orange slices candy.
