Introduction: Coffee Art

This is a simple and fun way to use coffee/coffee grinds and make them into art projects. For my art project I am doing a tree.

Supplies

canvas, pencil, pen, blow dryer, toothpicks, paintbrushes, Elmer's glue, medicine cup and coffee.

Step 1: Layering

Start by dawing a rough scetch (with a pencil) Pour the coffee in the medicine cup and dip the paintbrush in it and start painting . After you paint the first part of your painting blow dry it to speed up the process. When you are blow drying try to be at least 6 inches away from your canvas in order not to have the coffee go everywhere. Paint another layer and blow dry, repeat this step as many times as you like, just remember with every layer the coffee becomes darker on your canvas.

Step 2: Coffee Grinds

Put some Elmer's glue wherever you like, if you want to do some real detail work you can use a toothpick. After that, put some dry coffee grinds on the Elmer's glue then shake it off.

Step 3: Your Finished!

Your finished! it is pretty fun and easy it does not take that much time and you can use used coffee and coffee grinds (as long as the coffee grinds are dry).
