Introduction: Cornhole Game

this is for my stem class, and this is steps on how to make the bean bag toss, cornhole game at home

Step 1: Step 1- Gathering of Cardboard

step 1- gather 4 bits of cardboard, around 42cm x 20cm, (this is what i did you can get any bigger or smaller, just make sure its in a 2:1 ratio, you could just get the flaps off a box, thats what i did)

Step 2: Step 2- the Hole

place something with a big circle on a a half one piece of cardboard and the half of the other, the draw around it to capture the circle.

once done you should have something like the picture above, but with cardboard, then you should cut out the cardboard, you might needs a parents help.

any hole will be fine, a square will be easier with scissors, but it just has to be big enough for a beanbag like item to go through

once you have done this, tape it together on the back, so they stick together.

make sure the hole is symmetrical

Step 3: Step 3- the Face

place another piece of cardboard on top of the two pieces taped together with the hole, make sure you heavily tape around it so it connects to the other two pieces and that it stays up.

Step 4: 4th Step- the 4th Board

this next step is somewhat difficult. go to the last piece of cardboard that you have, and with a ruler go to the long side and measure where 28cm is, then draw a line from the 28cm point to the opposite corner, make sure you have an rubber because i didnt have one on me when i did and it failed the first time. but basically all you need to do is go from the bottom of the piece of cardboard, measure 28cm up, and then do that for both corner sides, then draw an x going from corner, to the 28cm on the other side like in the picture.

so once you have the crosslines, do a line across at around 10cm from the bottom up, going through the two lines like in the photo

then like in the photo, label the triangles A and B, these will become stands for the game.

cut the A and B triangles out.

Step 5: Step 5, the Legs

tape the parts on to the back at the bottom, and if you have double sided tape, use it, if not, you can tape the sides like latches, to the main body. like in the photo you can see that i have connected the parts to tape

Step 6: Step 6

the final step for the cornhole game, get the rest of piece 4, and tape it to the back like in the photo, at the end of the body. this is the main stand, and helps the whole game. once you tape it on like the photo shows, your cornhole game should be ready to go

Step 7: How to Play

once you have finished the craft, find something that is light, but not to big, like a bean bag, and try and stand like 15m away get it into the hole, but be careful cause it very fragile, so dont throw heavy items at it
