Question 9 months ago on Step 3

New crocheter here, self teaching sorry if it's a silly question. 2 sc in the same sc means only the one sc after the chain one in row 2?

Yes. You put 2 sc in the first sc after your ch 1. Also, see my post above yours about the errata in the pattern.

After trying it as written, there's errata. You can't get the slant along the sides doing it as written. Row three needs to start with a dec and end with 2 sc in the last sc. Then alternate. Even rows should start with 2 sc in first st and end with dec in last two, odd rows should start with dec and end with 2 sc in last sc. Otherwise you just end up with straight sides anyway, doing it as written.

These are so cute!!! Is there a certain ratio to make pattern produce larger spirals?

Huh. I like to knit my dishrags personally, but I love the idea of using these for face scrubbies. I'm thinking this'll take up less room, too.

Too pretty to clean dishes with! Some people knit strips of nylon netting into dish scrubbers, but I'd think that would be really hard on the hands.
