Introduction: DIY Earrings Organizer

About: I am a Makeup Artist, crafter, party lover and mother.

Something i've experienced in my life is that not only socks get lost, there's a mystery that involves earrings too. So I determined I'll do my best to keep them in pairs and this was the best way to do it. It looks pretty and works great.

Step 1: Materials

This is what you'll need.

Plastic frame (I found this in the dollar store).

Spray paint

Plastic gloves

Lace

5 inches of rope

Glue gun

Scissors

Step 2: Spray Paint

Start by taking the glass off the frame and the cardboard that goes behind it so that you just have the frame.

Paint it with the spray paint covering the surface you're working in.

Wait for it to dry and give it another coat.

Step 3: Lace Rectangle

When it's perfectly dry place the frame in a table facing down.

Lay the lace over it and cut it to the size of the outer line of the frame.

Step 4: Glue

Using the glue gun put some glue in the inner line of the frame and glue the lace to it. Be very careful because the lace has a lot of little holes and you can burn your fingers. You can use the back of your scissors too.

Step 5: Trim

Once it's all glued to the frame, cut the edges to give it a more polished finish.

Step 6: Rope

Bend the rope in half and make a single knot.

Glue it to the upper part of the frame using the glue gun.

Step 7: Hang It

It's ready to be hung. I decided to put it behind my closet door to have my earrings at hand every morning when i get dressed and put them back every night. It's not heavy at all so you can use a nail to hang it or just a little hook with adhesive.

Hope you love it as much as I do!
