Introduction: DIY Snowball Ornament

This is a simple fun project perfect for any christmas tree.

Supplies

Materials: bowls, water, tacky glue, glitter, plain white string, ornament hooks/strings, scissors, spoon, tweezers, and balloons

Step 1: Balloon

First, blow up a balloon into an ornament sized ball. Next, tie a knot around the tie of the balloon and start to wrap the string around the ball. You can keep wrapping the string for as little or as long as you'd like. An ornament half covered in string usually looks best.

Step 2: Almost There

Mix together glue and water to create a liquid with the consistency of water, but the color of glue. Add the balloon into the mixture and start to rotate it around to ensure all the string gets coated in glue. While the glue is still wet, add glitter onto the string.

Step 3: Finishing

After letting the glue dry, cut the balloon with something sharp. The string should be left in the ball shape, and you should be able to remove all of the balloon. Now, add a ornament hook through the hole where the knot was made around the balloons knot.

Step 4: Done

Now you have a nice, pretty ornament that you can add onto your tree. I hope you enjoyed this diy project, and have fun crafting!
