Introduction: DIY Tie-Dye Snowman Ugly Sweater Hoodie

You know what time it is, oh yeah! Ugly Sweater season! We know you’ll probably be going to a ton of ugly sweater Christmas parties and we want you to stand out at every single one! Others will probably do the usual “glue on ornaments and tinsel” but not you! With the help of Tulip One-Step Tie-Dye Kit and Tulip Fabric Markers, you’ll create an ugly sweater that’s to DYE for!

Supplies

What you need:

-Tulip One-Step Tie-Dye Kit

-Tulip Fabric Markers

-White hoodie

-Rubber bands

-Gloves

-Large Ziploc bag

-Rack (baking rack)

-Cardboard

-Paper towels

Step 1:

First thing want to do is layout the damp/pre-washed hoodie and smooth out the wrinkles.

Step 2:

Pinch the hoodie in the center, and then gather it together into a tube shape.

Step 3:

Take the rubber bands and start wrapping them 3 inches from the top. Create sections that are 1-2 inches thick.

Step 4:

Place the tied hoodie on the rack, and lay paper towels underneath.

Step 5:

Alternate the red and green dye when dying the sections.

Step 6:

Once you’re done dying, place the hoodie into the plastic Ziploc bag and allow to set.

Step 7: Cut the Rubber Bands Off Then Rinse Under Running Water.

Step 8:

After rinsing, you'll want to wash and dry the hoodie.

Step 9:

Take the hoodie from the dryer and lay it flat. Place the cardboard into the shirt to create a stable drawing surface.

Step 10:

Grab your Tulip Fabric Markers and begin drawing the snowman face.

Step 11:

Once your hoodie has its snowman face on it’s ready to wear!
