Introduction: DIY Vinyl Record Clock

Vinyl record clocks are a fun way to recycle old vinyl records that may be scratched or broken. Here is how you can make one yourself, and it is very easy.

Supplies

-Vinyl Record 33”

-Clock Kit (Gearbox and Arms)

-Laser Cutter

-Stencil(s) of the Design(s)

-Hot Glue Gun

Step 1: Make the Design You Want on the Record

Pick the design that you want on the record and put it on the record where you want it engraved.

Step 2: Laser Engrave Your Design

Use a laser cuter to engrave the design you picked in step 1.

Step 3: Attach the Clock Kit to the Record

Once you get a clock kit, the installation is very simple. Use a hot glue gun to glue the back on and then follow the instructions as according to the picture. Then, put the battery in.

Step 4: Other Additions (optional)

The final step is adding whatever else you want to add. On mine, I put pictures from the white album gatefold and inserts.

Step 5: Finished Product

This is what you will end up with. Thank you for reading and good luck on your project!
