Introduction: Duct Tape and Gum Guitar Pick Case

This instructable is very handy! It can fit in your backpack or pocket and you'll never lose your picks!

Step 1: Materials and Tools


You will need...
5 gum case (contents removed)
Duct Tape
Velcro
Exacto or Swiss Army Knife
Guitar Picks

Step 2: Cutting the Case

Slit the back of the case right down the middle.

Step 3: Extending Sleeve

Cut a piece of duct tape 2x2 in. and fold over left sleeve to extend it.

Step 4: Making Pockets


To make the pockets, cut a piece of duct tape 2x2.5 in., fold in half, and tape into the case (see picture)

Step 5: Second Row of Pockets


Repeat step 4 and put this new row under the first. Then, put in your picks.

Step 6: Velcroin' It

Place one velcro side (approx. 1.5x2 cm.)on the extended sleeve and the corresponding velcro piece on the bottom of the second sleeve. Then, on top of the second sleeve, place another piece of velcro with the corresponding piece on the edge of the cover.

Step 7: Finishing Touches

Now just cut the bottom off of the gum case and there you have it! please leave a comment!
