Glass painting may seem a little daunting, but it's actually really easy and the end result is super impressive! I used an indian-inspired design which I drew myself, but you can use whichever pattern you choose.

This tutorial shows you how to paint a glass frame (which I would definitely recommend for beginners), but of course you can really paint any glass objects you wish.

Step 1: Materials

A4 glass frame
glass paints
black relief outliner
paintbrush
A4 sheet of white paper
A4 sheet of paper with a sketch of desired design

Step 2: Find Your Design

Place your sheet with the design inside your frame.

Step 3: Apply Outliner

Using your rough design as a guide, apply the black outline directly from the tube onto the glass. Make sure that your lines are continuous as paint will bleed through any gaps. When you're happy with the design, leave to dry.

Step 4: Paint

Once your outliner is totally dry, you can start applying colour with your paintbrush. Leave to dry, remove your reference sheet from inside the frame and replace it with a sheet of white paper.
