Had a hankerin' for an omelet this morning - nothing fancy, just one egg, quick and easy with a little ham and cheese. My omelet's not too pretty but it's plenty tasty and only took a few minutes to make.

This is a super easy camping dish, too!

Step 1: Ingredients

One egg

Diced Ham

Shredded cheese

a little butter

Step 2: Grill Up Ham

I like my diced ham toasty brown and slightly crunchy. I grill it till it hops and then I know it's ready!

Step 3: Prepare Egg

I throw a little milk (almond, regular, or half & half) in my egg - maybe a tablespoon - and beat lightly. No salt - the ham is salty enough!

Step 4: Cook Egg

In my preheated pan where I just cooked up my ham, I pour in my egg. I didn't even stir this one around very much - as soon as it begins thicken, add your fillers.

Step 5: Add Fillers

Add in your ham and top with cheese, and allow to cook a little more, loosening up the edges of your omelet with a spatula.

Step 6: Fold Over

Fold your omelet in half, then flip and cook the other side a few more seconds, then serve!

Step 7: Serve & Enjoy!

Plate 'er up, and enjoy your hearty breakfast
