Introduction: Easy Pizza Muffins 3 Steps

About: When I embark on a project, I usually like to document the process and upload it here to Instructables.

In this Instructable, you will learn how to make a pizza muffin. This is a quick and easy breakfast and is something different from your usual toast or cereal. You can top the pizza with whatever you want and go as crazy as you want with it.

Supplies

A Muffin (90p)

Tomato Purée(45p)

Olives(85p)

Cheese(£4.50)

(All prices are for 1 pack/jar e.g. 22p for 1 muffin but 90p for a pack of 4.)

Total price - £6.70 (enough to make at least 4 pizzas)

Appliances and others:

An oven

A cutlery knife

A sharp knife or something to cut cheese

An Olive Spoon or just a spoon (to get the olives out of the jar)

Kitchen roll

Chopping board

A baking tray

Step 1: Preparations

Firstly, turn your grill on so it starts to get hot whilst you are preparing the pizza. Cut your muffin in half using your sharp knife. If you want a really crispy pizza base, you could toast the muffin before moving onto the next step. Next, squeeze a generous amount of tomato purée onto each half of the muffin and spread evenly.

Step 2: Toppings

On a folded piece of kitchen roll, take some of your olives out of the jar and place them onto the folded kitchen roll. You might want to cut your olives in half if they are not already. The kitchen roll absorbs some of the olive brine so you don’t have a soggy pizza. After that, cut your cheese into medium sized strips making sure they are small enough that they all fit on with no overhang and not too large that they don’t melt. Place the cheese onto the two muffin sides and the olives on top.

Step 3: Cooking

Place the pizza muffins onto your baking tray and place under the grill. Cooking times may vary depending on how many toppings you have so just go by eye on how much the cheese has melted. The average amount of time it takes my pizza muffin to cook is around 2 minutes.

Enjoy!
