Introduction: Fishing Rod Holder
Hello My Fellow Instructables
here i have a very light FRH Fishing Rod Holder
for this u need
Square Aluminium 1" X1" and Plastic Brackets see picture for details
PVC 40 mm wide. cut to 10 Inches
Screws,Brackets to hold the Aluminium. all this could be purchased at bunnigs
the Cross beams are 16 inches wide
The Legs are 7 Inches Tall
The Feet Each Pc is 6 inches long
The two pcs that Hold The Cross beams are 6 Inches.
The Whole Unit is 18 inches Wide
15 inches Tall
13 inches deep
After cutting all to size drill the cross beams front and back 5mm hole in front & 15/18 mm at the Back
see pictures.
cut and drill the PVC Front and Back 5mm hole…..
use a Hot Air gun to make one side of the PVC soft then place it on the neck of a beer bottle. see picture
assemble all together and place the PVC using some bolts ..see picture.
my unit holds 5 Rods and it could be up grated to hold 5 more.
have fun and go and make something.

Good job, I think that is probably a better and safer way to store made up rods, than horizontal storage?.Your idea looks like its much easier to store and choose rods than my horizontal storage.
Great idea for forming the necks of the tubes. I think I might try fixing the screw on spring steel tool clips to the frame, there would be no need to drill and screw the tubes then..

40 mm 4 cm or 1 1/2 inches wide.
