Introduction: Gecko Leash With Harness

Hi! I hope this works for you and your gecko. And I made up this creation, and I don`t know if it will work because my gecko is sleeping and he gets squirmy and sometimes bites. But he is pretty tame. This is very simple to make. Hope this works!

Step 1:

You will need:
String
Scissors
A lizard (Gecko would work best)
A piece of thick ribbon (optional)

First, you need a piece of string about 7 ½ inches. (If not a big gecko then about 4 ½ inches.)  Tie both ends of your string together so it makes a circle. Tie it tight. You don’t want your little friend to get loose and run away.  Loop the string so it is a figure 8. Tie the middle of the figure 8 really tight with another piece of string.

Step 2:

Tie a long piece of string, maybe 2 feet, to one of the loops. That will be the leash.
Now tie a piece of string about 2 inches to the other loop. Put your geckos front legs into the 2 loops. WARNING: Your gecko may bite. When the legs are in, tie the 2 inch string to the long string. The 2 inch string should be somewhat on the bottom of your gecko`s neck.

Step 3:

Now if you want to add a bow, then cut a 1 ½ inch long and 1 inch wide piece of ribbon and tie it to the 2  inch piece of string at the bottom of your gecko`s neck. It will look like a bow a little. Enjoy!
There is one picture of my gecko with a different leash on and a picture of the leash I taught you how to make close up and far away. Thank you! P.S. Please post a comment if you tried this
