Connect Four a game that is family friendly and is very known. You and you’re family must have played this game several times whether it being at family gatherings or just family game night. Sounds fun, but have you played Giant Connect Four? No? Giant Connect Four can be played outside and inside the house and is extremely family friendly, but you must be warned. This game seems safe and all but it is very… FUN! To learn how to make this game I suggest you scroll down!

Step 1: Materials

The materials required to make Giant Connect Four successfully is…

  • 3 Bristal Boards
  • Scissors or an Exacto Knife (Ask for help from an adult)
  • Hot Glue Gun (Ask for help from an adult)
  • Hot Glue Gun Glue
  • Circular Shape (Bowl or Circular Container)
  • 3 Different Colours of Paint of you’re choice ( or 2 and make another by mixing both colours)
  • Paint Brushes

Step 2: Step 1: Outlining Your Boards

First thing before starting any project is to buy and put aside any materials required as you can see in the first slide with the picture of the materials.

Step 1:

Start off by grabbing 2 of your bristal board and draw circles using a bowl or container. To draw these circles I used a pink pencil crayon, you can continue with the same step with whatever utensil you would like to use. The circles that must be drawn on the bristal boards should have 5 columns with 4 circles in each column (adding to 20 circles in total).

Step 3: Step 2: Cutting Your Outline

Step 2:

Using your scissors or Exacto Knife cut out the circle outlines in your Bristal boards. When you cut out the circles Keep them aside because those are going to play as the checkers you need to play connect four with. use the other board to cut out for circles and long rectangles. The long Rectangles will help with support to the boards.

Step 4: Step 3: Assembling the Boards

Step 3:

In this step you will need to plug in your hot glue gun because this is the assembling step. In this step you will use your boards and rectangular shapes using your hot glue gun to glue everything together. The rectangular pieces will go in between the boards to identify the columas made and will be secured in place with the use of the glue in the hot glue gun.

Step 5: Step 4: Assembling the Circles

Step 4:

The cirles that were previously cut you will gather them and attach 3 or less together to give it some width. This step will help the circles be secure in the game boards.

Step 6: Step 5: Painting

Step 5:

In this step you will gather your board and circles and paint them. As you can see in this picture I have 2 different colours of pain neon pink and neon yellow. I used pink and orange on even amount of circles (10 pink and 10 orange). I achieved the colour orange by mixing together the pin and yellow. I then finished painting the board the colour yellow.

Step 7: Step 6: Your Done

Step 6:

After you finished painting and have let your creation dry, you can continue by calling your friends and family and invite them to a game of Giant Connect Four.
