Introduction: Ginger Orange Detox Bath Soak
The ingredients epsom salt, sea salt, baking soda, and ginger are all detoxing herbs. The orange is both cleansing and uplifting. Watch the video for detailed instructions.
Step 1: Gather Ingredients
You will need:
Sea salt
Baking soda
Epsom salt
Empty Jar
Orange Peel
Ground Ginger
Orange Essential Oil (I'm using tangerine)
Ginger Essential Oil
(Optional essential oils- cinnamon, clove, and lemon)
Step 2: Chop Orange Peel
Make sure to cut off the white part of the peels. You want only the outside skin. Then with a knife or pizza cutter chop into tiny pieces.
Step 3: Add Epsom Salt
Fill the jar 1/3 with epsom salt
Step 4: Add Orange Peel
Add the chopped orange peel.
Step 5: Add Sea Salt
Fill the jar 1/3 with sea salt. Do not use iodized salt.
Step 6: Lid and Shake
Shake until fully mixed together.
Step 7: Add Baking Soda
Fill the jar 1/3 with baking soda. And shake more.
Step 8: Add Ginger
Add a pinch or 2 of ground ginger. And shake more.
Step 9: Add Essential Oils
Add essential oils to your own liking. Ginger essential oil is very potent so you won't need much. And shake more.
Step 10: Enjoy a Nice Detoxing Bath
Add 1/2 to 1 cup to your bath water. You can also use this as a foot soak, just add 1/4 to 1/2 to foot bath.

Does this remove different toxins than your charcoal bath? If so what toxins and how do these ingredients remove them?

The 2 recipes detox in different ways, both equally effective. Some people may not like the idea of a black bath, or want something that smells better.
The charcoal bath draws out toxins and absorbs the toxins into itself.

Ginger helps circulation and blood flow which in turn helps the body to sweat out the toxins, but it does not absorb the toxins.

Both recipes have baking soda, sea salt, and epsom salt which are all well know for their detoxing effects in baths.
