Half-mitten for Touchless Transactions.

Introduction: Half-mitten for Touchless Transactions.

This is a half mitten to use in public spaces for touchless transactions. It is very easy to make, and you can use it for opening and closing doors, signing for your credit card, using your credit card, and many more.

Scissors, 3.5in by 12in piece of cloth, needle and thread, and ruler.

Step 1: Fabric

Cut a 3.5 in by 12 in of fabric. (I used 3 in instead of 3.5 but i have smaller hands.) Then mark with the pen 3 in from each end.

Step 2: Sewing

Next, fold fabric on the marks. Then sew the edges along the dashed lines.

Step 3: Use!

Then to use, fold fabric in the middle and put your fingers in the folds like a mitten!

Thank you so much. I haven't pegged skills w) a sewing machine yet, but I do a mean hand-stitch.
Not only is the quite wonderful as a sewing project to do during CoVid19 pandemic, it has potential use for long-term afterwards, as we will soon be ultra-sensitized to all the stuff that we come in contact with unwittingly. Unless we are complete hermits, we must learn to live safely without embracing incredulity about it all. I'm thinking a layer of "glass and brass" microfiber towel will be my own material to make these with.
Back when I learned to install carpet, we were still utilizing hand-stitching of the carpet seems. I know, that seems fantastical, but it is true.
