You may have many more types of wallets now. Their materials may be even different. The handmade wallet I will show is out of fabric. And it is a folding wallet.
Folding wallet is unique and attractive. The foldable type is also the bright spot of this handmade wallet. You will like it at your first sight. Believe it or not, I am going to give you the making instructions.

Step 1: Step 1: Make Main Bag Body and Bag Cover

Make copy of patterns with paper and cut off six pieces of lining. Cut the surface fabric; seam the surface pieces and lining correspondingly and iron them. Take out the bag cover pieces. Lay them together faced with reverse side. Stitch the two pieces along the edges. Place the made bag cover on its body shown as below. Take out one inner piece of fabric and cover on two.

Step 2: Step 2: Combine the Inner Fabric and Surface Piece

Suture the four sides, leaving place to turn over. Cut the arc sides to tooth shape. Turn over the bag and make apparent lines along the edges. Take out the left two pieces of fabric as below. Place them and suture with open side. Cut the arc and right angles places to tooth shape. Turn it over and make apparent lines along the edges. Combine the two pieces by the stitch line as the picture shown.

Step 3: Step 3: the Ending Work

Sew the two pieces as the line shown. Fold the two pieces and stitch two angles of their junctions. Make the other side in the same way. Then the bag has two lays inside. Sew a button at the cover; add the other one on its body which is matched with the button on the cover.
