Introduction: Heart Shaped Refigerator Magnet
An easy way to create a heartwarming fridge magnet.
Supplies
- cardboard
- magnet strip
- air drying clay
- white glue
- hot glue
- stamp
- paint in pink and carmin red
Step 1: Cardboard Base
Take a cardboard piece and draw a heart shape on it. Cut it out and use it as a template for the second heart layer. Glue it together with hot glue.
Cut a piece of a magnet strip (3cm is enough). Put it on the cardboard heart and draw the outline. Then with a slicer crave out the shape of the strip.
Step 2: Clay Cover
Take some clay and stretch it out like a pizza dough. Put white glue on the heart and lay the clay on it. Push it gently to it and then smooth the small errors by wet hand.
The place of the magnet will be lower (since we craved a hole for it) so put white glue in it and then the magnet strip.
Do the other side of it the same way.
Step 3: Texture
To add some texture use a stamp on the clay on each side and let it dry.
Step 4: Coloring
Add a layer of pink and after dry mix the red with a lot of water and paint a layer of this, but clean with the baby wipes.
After dry add a layer of varnish.
