Introduction: Great 3D Hinge

About: I am just a random person who is posting things that interest me. I am interested in programming and Arduino in the future. I like designing on a cad software and 3d printing. I love penguins as you might be a…

For this hinge all you need is 20-30 minutes and a 3D printer if you want to print the hinge. Also I am sorry that all the pics are in different colors (It helped me when designing).

Step 1: Make a Base:

Make a square and size it to 20mm by 30mm by 3mm. This will be the base of the hinge.

Step 2: Duplicate Base:

Take the box that you just made and duplicate it as shown in the picture above.

Step 3: Add Hinge Part:

Make 3 cylinders all at 6mm by 6mm by 9mm. Put them in order as shown in the pics above.

Step 4: Get Rid of Unneeded Stuff:

Create 3 box wholes and clear the access stuff out just as shown in the pictures.

Step 5: Make Whole in Hinge Part:

Make a cylinder whole and size it to 4mm by 4mm by 30mm and duplicate that. Put the cylinder wholes in between the solid cylinders. Now you may print the hinge out and put a piece of paperclip in between the wholes in the hinge.
