Holiday White Peppermint Star

Are you ready for the Holidays?  Most of us aren't really ever ready (myself included) But, the season is changing and winter is slowly creeping up on us, wether we want it to or not!  Here's a scary fact for you just in case you were worried about having to shovel a lot of snow... The record for the most snow fall in a 24 hour period in the United States happened in Silver Lake, Colorado in 1921. During that 24 hour period, six feet and four inches of snow fell--which is the height of a very tall man!  This cocktail, however, can be your excuse NOT to go out and shovel.  Blue peppermint star is a unique twist on a candy cane flavor.  Creamy and delightful, it's perfect for the holiday season, and even better for those holiday parties. The recipe is simple and beautiful - give it a try and you'll find it to be pleasantly gratifying.

Holiday Peppermint Star:

1oz Vodka

1oz Cream

.5oz Peppermint Schnapps

.5oz Torani Vanilla Bean flavored syrup

Mix all ingredients in a cocktail shaker until the shaker has frost on it.  (the colder the cocktail the better it tastes.)  Pour into a chilled cocktail glass rimmed with blue sugar.  Garnish with a blue star if desired - if not then drink up this decadent cocktail.  Happy Holidays!
