Introduction: Homemade Healthy Pineapple Popsicle- Nothing Added!

About: I love to make stuff, including food, crafts, and especially electronics.

Yum yum!

Spend your summer days eating a healthy frozen treat! With extra recipes with the leftovers. And worried about eating chemicals and sugar? This recipe is purely made of pineapples. And whatever fruit you want to put in.

NOTE: I accidentally originally posted this in my other account so I'm reposting here and deleting it there.

Sorry!

The other account is hugohu and you can send a message to me at that account and I'll confirm.

Supplies

Food processor, but a blender is better.

Pineapples. (one is enough)

Popsicle molds/tubes.

Any other fruit/juice you'd like to add.

Step 1: DISCLAIMERS:

Disclaimer 1: Please do not make this if you are allergic to pineapples and/or citrus fruit.

Disclaimer 2: Please note that only the pineapple version has been tested. Adding/ using any other fruit may result in a less than delicious treat. (If you don't like pineapples that's fine, use other stuff)

Disclaimer 3: Please note that the blade in a food processer is extremely sharp and should be treated with utmost caution. Remove before pouring out puree.

Disclaimer 4: Please note that adding juice that contains added sugars and other unnatural substances (basically if it isn't fresh juice) the Popsicle will not be as healthy. (yes, even if your juice is organic!!) (Best if you make the juice with a juice maker thing. Store bought contains lots of extra stuff.

Disclaimer 5: Please note that I am not responsible for any allergies caused by this recipe since I didn't add anything else and a warning was posted in Disclaimer one.

Step 2: Puree!

Chop your pineapple.

They should be in small cubes, rectangular prisms, or any other 3D geometrical shape you can think of. (The first two are the easiest.) Throw into the grinder/blender as much as you need. The Puree will be about the volume of your pineapple cubes. Press grind/blend, and wait for it to be completely liquid and free of little chunks. Of course, if you like to have some pineapple bits in there(should be good) make sure you don't grind them that much, just lightly so a bit of chunks and some liquid.

Step 3: Pour.

TAKE OUT THE BLADE IF YOUR MACHINE HAS A BLADE THAT IS REMOVABLE THORUGH THE ITEM CONTAINER(PLACE YOU PUT THE PINEAPPLE IN).

DON'T LET IT FALL OUT, IT MAY RESULT IN INJURY.

Anyways. Take it out, and pour puree into the molds. ENJOY!

And also freeze it.

REMIXES: You can probably add other tropical fruits... and juices if you want, (not tested), but remember that store bought juice contain lots of additives like a bunch of sugar and other stuff. To maintain the "healthness" of the popsicle, make fresh juice with a juice pump or something.

LEFTOVERS? This puree isn't bad to drink. If you don't want that much puree, add lemonade and/or orange juice. It tastes... better than I thought. It's a Yum-Yum for all of us.
