How to Make the Octahedron (Buckyballs)

Step 1: What You Need.

You will need a chain of buckyballs. Take the 1st buckyball and connect it in-between the 2nd and 3rd buckyball so of the 1st four buckyballs it looks like a diamond. Then loop the buckyballs around that until you have a shape that is 3 by 3 all around.

Step 3: Take 4 by 4 and 3 by 5

Take the part of the 3 by 5 and make sure it interlocks in the 4 by 4. Then push them on top of each other.

Step 4: Put 2 by 6 on 3 by 5

Step 5: Put 2 by 5 on 2 by 6

Step 6: Repeat Process on Other Side of 4 by 4

Step 7: Fill in Holes.

Fill in holes.

Step 8: Show to You Friends!
