  • Eggs
  • Curry Powder
  • Lemon Juice
  • Mayonnaise
  • Salt

Step 1: To Start You Will Need a Small Pot, the More Eggs You Are Cooking the Bigger the Pot.

Fill the pot with half an inch of water. I know this sounds crazy but bare with me.

Place the pot over a medium-high heat, bring the water to the boil.

Step 2: Set a Timer for 8 Minutes.

8 minutes will give you a perfect hard-boiled egg.

Now the water is boiling add your eggs.

Cover with the lid and start the timer.

By only using a ½ inch of water instead of several cups means your eggs are cooked quicker.

Step 3: Now That the Timer Has Gone Off Take the Pot Off the Heat Straight Away.

Drain the water from the pot before added the eggs to an ice water bath.

By shocking the egg with the cold water it will make the egg easier to peel.

Let them sit for a few minutes.

Step 4: Crack the Egg Along the The Middle and Peel the Shell From the Egg.

Rinse it in the water before setting to one side.

Step 5: Next Carefully Slice the Eggs in Half Length Ways.

Make sure to clean your knife as you go, this will stop the eggs from breaking up.

By using the steam method to cook these egg, you get beautifully cooked whites and yolk that aren’t discolored.

Step 6: In a Bowl Spoon Out the Yolks From the Eggs. a Teaspoon Works a Treat.

Using a fork mash the yolks.

To the bowl add to tablespoons of mayonnaise, you can found my homemade mayonnaise recipe on the channel.

Season with a pinch of salt.

Then add one tablespoon of curry powder.

Mix all together.

Step 7: Squeeze in the Juice of Half a Lemon.

Mix the juice through the yolk mixture.

Step 8: For This Next Step You Could Use a Piping Bag But a Zip Lock Bag Will Do the Trick.

Spoon the mixture in before pushing out any air.

Push the mixture towards one corner.

Slice off the corner of the bag and you have a piping bag.

Step 9: Layout the Egg Whites and Pipe in the Yolk Mixture With a Swilling Pattern.

Use a folk to rough up the edges.

Garish with chopped chives.
