Supplies

Ingredients:

  • 16 oz pasta
  • 8 oz block of feta cheese
  • 20 oz cherry tomatoes
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • Basil
  • Olive oil
  • Sea salt
  • Oregano
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Step 1: Collect Ingredients

Collect all your ingredients and make sure to wash the tomatoes and basil to ensure freshness.

Step 2: Preheat Oven

Preheat the oven to 400°

Step 3: Add Ingredients to Baking Dish

In a large baking dish, place the block of feta cheese in the middle. Around the block, place cherry tomatoes, garlic cloves, and basil to fill up the rest of the dish. Drizzle olive oil around the dish to coat the ingredients. After, sprinkle salt and oregano on top.

Step 4: Cook Pasta

Meanwhile, add water to a large pot and let it boil. Then add in pasta along with a few pinches of salt. Once the pasta is done cooking, drain the water but set 1 cup of pasta water aside.

Step 5: Bake

Once the oven is preheated, insert the baking dish and bake for 25 mins, or until tomatoes turn slightly brown.

Step 6: Mix Ingredients

Once the dish is finished baking, take it out of the oven. Use a large spoon to smash the tomatoes, garlic, oil, and feta together. If the mixture is too thick, add tablespoons of pasta water until desired consistency.

Step 7: Add Pasta and Mix

Once the mixture is ready, add cooked pasta to the baking dish and mix together. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (optional) to taste. Serve warm and enjoy!
