How to Make Slime

In this instructable, we will show you step by step instructions on how to make some slime!

Step 1: Gather Materials:

• ½ Cup of water
• ½ Cup of glue
• Glitter/Confetti (Optional)
• 1/2 Cup of liquid Starch
• 2 Bowls
• 1 Spoon
• Old newspaper (to keep area clean)
• Zip-lock bag or container
• Measuring cup

Step 2: Work Area

Get work area ready with old newspapers.

Step 3: Gather Mixing Materials:

Have your 2 bowls and spoon ready.

Step 4: Measure Water

Measure out 1/2 cup of water and pour into bowl.

Step 5: Measure Glue

Unscrew lid of glue for easier access to glue. Measure out 1/2 cup of glue and put it in the same bowl as the water.

Step 6: Mix in Measured Ingredients

Mix in 1/2 cup of the water and 1/2 cup of the glue until glue becomes very thin.

Step 7: Mix in Liquid Starch

Measure and pour 1/2 cup of liquid starch into the bowl with mixture.

Step 8: Mix

Mix slime until there is no water left. Should have a gooey slime afterward.

Step 9: Put on Gloves

Put on gloves because the next part will start to get sticky!

Step 10: Play With Slime (not Done Yet)

Slime will be very sticky, so take slime out of bowl and play with for over 5 minutes.

Step 11: Let Slime Settle

Put slime to the side in other bowl for 3-5 minutes to let it settle.

Step 12: Store Slime

Have a container or zip-lock bag to store slime for later fun.

Step 13: Clean Up!

Clean up after project.
